Welcome to Kiruna Funny story. Before taking off the pilot announce: "We are mossing some rivets (Nitar) and just want to check if we can take off". Afterwards we changed plane... I had forgotten my mobile and 10 minutes before landing I got a sms...
The plane slided a little bit at the runway landed... Me walking alone on lonely road playing one song on reapeat; Green Days Bouleward of Brokean Dreams. :-)

With an ore body 4km long, 80m thick and reaching a depth of 2km, LKAB's Kiruna is the world's largest, most modern underground iron ore mine. There are guided tours but they cost 180 sek/students. However between 01.15 and 01.45 each night they have an explosion which you can feel in whole Kiruna. The train arrives! Wheeeee!

Description: The launch of Stratos, Rexus & Bexus. Stratos is the project which my student assoiciation DARE had during my stay in the Netherlands. The Stratos rocket is 4 meters and will reach an altitude of 15 km and thereby beat the European Altitude Record by Amateurs. For more information see http://www.projectstratos.nl
