Travel Tips

One of my big hobbies is to travel and backpacking. What I like the most when I travel and discover new student cultures. That’s why I’m involved in the international work besides my studies. I like this because I find its inspiring and fun to meet people with similar interest. I also believe that the society will be more open minded if we are more are of the different nationalities. I don’t intend to talk about the cities I have been to but if you want to be inspired you can take a look at my albums under the “photos” tab.

To make the most out trip it’s always good to be prepared. One of my first advices is to travel light. If you are going to a BEST-course you can mostly likely count that you will get an extra t-shirt. In worst case you can always do some laundry or buying some new clothes. Most hostels have laundry machines and it saves a lot of effort by using them. Something else that I learned as well is to use your own camera. Don’t trust that people will send you a CD or upload it to some web server, even if they say they will do so. This have happened a couple of times to me and you get very disappointed in case you realized that you don’t have any pictures from a trip. Without the pictures it’s hard to remember the memories and its really hard to tell about the trip to someone else.

I have written a few pages about some tips from experience to travel inexpensive which you can read about at the following pages. I start to write some about the different airline companies in the Gothenburg region and information regarding bonus points. Then there is also information how to find a cheap place to stay followed by some instructions about traveling insurances. Of course there are a lot of other things you can do to become involved, like subscribing the different airlines newsletters. Another idea to find out more can be as well to check out the communites and News feeds which I’m subscribed to.
