Leeghwater CASE committe

I was active in the business organization of Leeghwater, where I was the treasurer. We were 4 people in this organization which is arranging company cases related to Mechanical engineering. In total we made five cases. For example we went to Heineken with 25 people and had a case to solve how to packet their new light beer at the US market. It was a nice challenge and funny case to solve. In the end of the case we had an excursion around the manufacturing line followed with a nice Borrel (drink), but (why is there always but?), I was Bob, the sober guy driving home.

Being active in the committee was really great. Not only did I get some Dutch friends, I also could join all the parties and event around the year. I could also buy cheap coffee between the lecture breaks. One cup cost me 0.13 cents, crazzy! Many Dutch students are as well part of an association club, so its pretty common to be part of more than one association.  I really enjoyed it, everything from the Dutch lunch to taking the limo to the beach with a couple of beers.
